Bio

Thirty years of Arctic experience studying migratory birds and their food web on Spitsbergen. Teaching Arctic Ecology at the University of Groningen. Station manager of the Netherlands Arctic Station in Ny-Aalesund, Svalbard. Dutch representative as observer in the CAFF working group of the Arctic Council. Specialist in outreach.
