Current Research

My research interests are encompassed by the environmental and analytical chemistry, and toxicology (e.g., endocrine- and immune-related) and effects of anthropogenic compounds, focusing on persistent and bioaccumulative organohalogens, but also other established and emerging organic chemicals of concern in aquatic environments. Examples of emerging contaminants (chlorinated, brominated or fluorinated) of concern include brominated flame retardants, perfluorinated alkyl substances, pesticides, herbicides and pharmaceuticals and personal care products.
