Bio

Tim Heleniak is a Senior Research Fellow at Nordregio, the Nordic Centre for Spatial Development in Stockholm, Sweden. He has a grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation titled "Polar Peoples: Past, Present, and Future". Previously, he worked with the World Bank, the United Nations Children's Fund, and the US Census Bureau.
