The Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS) announces two upcoming events. We hope you can join us!

Registration is now open for the following events:

Tundra Talks: Cultural Preservation and Community Building Through Art
Wednesday 23 October 2024 at 9:00 a.m. AKT (1:00 p.m. ET).

Join us for Cultural Preservation and Community Building Through Art, a Tundra Talk featuring a panel of Alaskan artists: Susan Qilgialuk Hope, Amy Ahnaughuq Topkok, and Bobby Qalutaksraq Brower. These talented artists will explore how traditional practices, such as Inupiaq skin-sewing, fur fashion, and indigenous art, preserve culture and strengthen community ties.

ARCUS Annual Meeting
Tuesday, 29 October 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. AKT

The ARCUS Annual Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. This annual event is an essential gathering for our Members, Board of Directors, staff, and all interested individuals. The meeting provides a valuable opportunity to discuss key Arctic research and education issues, as well as collaboration opportunities within the community. This is an open event—everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of ARCUS membership status!
