The U.S. Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (USAPECS) and the Polar Science Early Career Community Office (PSECCO) invite early career researchers studying the polar regions to attend their AGU Fall Meeting Social. This event will take place Wednesday, 14 December 2022, 6:15-7:15 p.m. Central Time in the Hudson/Commodore meeting room at the Hiltons at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
Attend the social to connect with other early career researchers and those interested in polar and alpine regions at a trivia night. Informally network with fellow early career scientists, catch up with old friends, and meet new people at this event of casual conversations and simple (fun) games to get to know the other attendees. All early career polar scientists are welcome.
The meeting rooms are located on the third floor of the Hiltons at McCormick Place hotel complex (123 E Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL 60616), near the indoor skyway to the convention center. If you are in the center of the convention center, follow the signs to the WEST building and the skybridge is in the North West corner.
Registration is free and walk-ins are welcome.
The event is separately hosted in person as well as online.
