Organizers of the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2021 invite session proposals under the theme, "The Arctic: Regional Changes, Global Impacts." The conference will convene 23 — 26 March 2021 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The conference is organized by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, Ciência Viva, AIR Center, the Portuguese Arctic Community, and by the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC: https://iasc.info/iasc/about-iasc) and partners.
International experts on the Arctic and Indigenous Peoples are invited to discuss the “New Arctic” and its impacts on and interactions with the lower latitudes.
The last three days of ASSW2021 are reserved for the Open Science Conference (OSC). This event will bring together scientists, Indigenous people, Arctic community members, and Arctic science stakeholders from all over the world to present and discuss the most recent advances on Arctic knowledge across disciplines, from the natural sciences to the humanities.
