Research Announcement (RA)
The Alaska SAR Facility (ASF) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks has
released an RA for innovative use of SAR data within the International
Arctic Research Center (IARC) at UAF.
The ASF is releasing this Research Announcement under contract to NASA.
The RA solicits proposals on new uses of SAR data alone, or with ancillary
data sets, to solve problems related to global climate change in polar
environments. The RA is being released in conjunction with a similar RA
initiated by the National Aeronautics and Space Development Administration
of Japan. Research from both RAs will benefit studies at IARC, an
institution created under the Common Agenda between the United States and
Japan.
