Dear Colleague:
If you receive support from the National Science Foundation for your
research in the Arctic, you may be interested in working with one of the
K-12 teachers selected in the Teachers Experiencing Antarctica and the
Arctic (TEA) program. You can see their web site at http://tea.rice.edu.
TEA teachers are sponsored by the National Science Foundation to travel
to polar regions to participate in ongoing research and to transfer the
experience to the classroom. The program is a partnership between the
National Science Foundation, teachers, researchers, and school
districts.
For more information, please see the TEA web site at http://tea.rice.edu.
If, after reviewing the program information, you would like to
participate in TEA during the 2001 field season, please contact Fae
Korsmo at fkorsmo [at] nsf.gov or 703/292-8029.
Sincerely,
Fae L. Korsmo
