The Hydrocarbon Impacts (HI) database has recently been made available
on the Web at: http://www.aina.ucalgary.ca/hi
The HI database contains over 4000 records describing publications and
research projects about the environmental impacts, socio-economic
effects and regulation of oil and gas exploration, development and
transportation in northern Canada. A Key Publications page provides an
overview of significant environmental, socio-economic and regulatory
publications, including a chronology of past development proposals and a
list of publications that contain useful background information.
Indian and Northern Affairs Canada funded the creation of HI, which is a
subset of the Arctic Institute of North America's Arctic Science and
Technology Information System (ASTIS). Your comments and suggestions
