Principal investigators funded by the 1999 North Pacific Marine Research
Program will report on their projects during a three-day meeting at the
University of Alaska Fairbanks 30-31 October and 1 November 2001.
Presentations will be on the first two days and the final day will be
devoted to a round table discussion on future research strategies in the
North Pacific and Bering Sea. Peggy Merritt of the Institute of Marine
Science, UAF is moderator for the discussion and invited guests include
Tylan Schrock (Alaska SeaLife Center), Bill Seitz (U.S. Geological
Survey), Trevor McCabe (At-Sea Processors Association), and reviewer Jim
Schumacher (Two Crow Environmental Consultants).
