This conference will emphasize the geodynamic evolution
of the Arctic Region and in particular its margins.
Themes for this conference will include:
1) Circum-Greenland Tectonics
2) Oil and Gas reserves/Gas Hydrates
3) Article 76 - Law of the Sea
4) Geodynamic Significance of Magmatism in the Arctic
5) Atlantic versus Pacific tectonic regimes in the
evolution of the Arctic Ocean
6) Circum-Arctic epeirogeny (vertical motions) Tectonic
and Glacial
7) Modern processes on Arctic Continental Margins, such
as: Climate change, Coastal processes, and Environmental
Issues
8) New Technologies including Arctic Drilling
