YOUR COMMENTS ARE REQUESTED as part of a community review process for
"Arctic Research Support and Logistics: Strategies for the 21st
Century," an updated report on priorities for arctic research support
and logistics.
The Arctic Research Support and Logistics Working Group (RSLWG), which
is coordinated by the Arctic Research Consortium of the United States
(ARCUS), has posted the draft of the report "Arctic Research Support and
Logistics: Strategies for the 21st Century" for community review at
http://www.arcus.org/Logistics/RSLWG/draft.html
This report is an update of the 1997 report "Logistics Recommendations
for an Improved U.S. Arctic Research Capability." The working group is
seeking broad-based input from the arctic research community on the
report's recommendations.
Please take this opportunity to review the draft report and contribute
your thoughts and recommendations on what is needed to improve arctic
research support and logistics to benefit arctic research in the future.
Please submit comments no later than 30 May 2003. Following this
community review and the incorporation of recommendations received, the
final report will be published online and in hard copy by ARCUS.
