CH2M HILL (http://www.ch2m.com/corporate/) has purchased VECO U.S.A.,
the National Science Foundation's contractor for Arctic research support
and logistics, as well as other VECO-affiliated companies, effective 7
September 2007. This purchase includes the arctic logistics contract
with NSF that is performed by VECO U.S.A., Polar Field Services and SRI
Inc., under the name VECO Polar Resources (VPR). No changes to the
current VPR team are anticipated and contacts for science proposal
information and field support remain the same. Additional details will
be provided after completion of the transition processing of the CH2M
HILL purchase of VECO U.S.A., Inc.
