Abstracts are now being accepted for the "Instrumentation for Polar
Regions" session, being convened during the European Geophysical Union
(EGU) annual general assembly in Vienna, Austria, 19-24 April 2009. The
deadline for this and all other sessions is Tuesday, 13 January 2009.
This session, as part of the Geophysical Instrumentation Program, will
focus on instrumentation and technologies that deliver science in the
polar regions. This includes sensors, instruments, power systems,
experiment set-up and coordination, as well as practical aspects of
operating in polar regions. The session is meant to encourage
presentations and discussions that span a versatile set of measurement
approaches and scientific disciplines.
Submissions are invited for both poster and oral presentations.
Abstracts must be submitted online, and must be received by Tuesday, 13
