    Climate Change Responses

Editors announce a call for contributions for a special issue of the
journal Climate Change Responses titled "Advances in Polar Research
Since the IPY." Interested scholars should submit online by 15 December

The editors are especially interested in publishing papers presenting
original research that was either inspired by IPY activities and
syntheses, or supported by an IPY grant.

Submissions must have relevance to the journal's aims and scope,
including life-sciences related research. All submissions will be
peer-reviewed, and decisions of acceptance or rejection rendered by the

The editorial board will select a best-of-series paper that will be
rewarded with a publication fee waiver for the primary author's next
submission to the journal.
