This week's webinar is entitled "Making the Transition from Academia to
Consulting" and will be presented by a panel of four polar scientists
working in industry and consulting, including: Cameron McNaughton,
Golder Associates Ltd.; Alex Taylor, Golder Associates Ltd.; Pablo
Wainstein, BGC Engineering; and Kristina Backtand, Enact Sustainable
Solutions. This webinar will give people who may be apprehensive of
working for industry a view on what it's like to continue doing
important, interesting work in a setting outside of academia. Presenters
will discuss how they made the transition and some of their lessons
learned, but there will be plenty of time for questions from the
audience.
