Lafayette College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant
Professor to begin in the fall of 2005. The College is seeking a
geologist with training and research interests in Global Change, such as
earth scientists using geological, chemical, physical, geophysical,
biogeological, or isotopic techniques to understand Earth System Science
focusing on broad questions of importance to humans.
A Ph.D. is required and evidence of high-quality teaching and research
is preferred. The individual must have a strong interest in teaching
undergraduates and establishing and maintaining an active research
program involving undergraduates. Teaching includes an upper-level
specialty course, development of an introductory course, and
participation in the core curriculum. Applicants may describe additional
courses they may wish to teach.
